Metronome
The metronome (or click-track) is not an end in itself but can be used with all of the other practice material. It’s useful for developing a strong sense of time and there’s endless opportunities and fun exercises that can be combined with a metronome
A simple free app will do the job perfectly. I’ve got both (free version),,, and Metronomics (paid - £4.99).
Exercise 1)
Set metronome to whatever tempo suits you best. I recommend starting at 100BPM.
This way you will easily hear if you are in time or not.
