Ed Jones / Emil Karlsen
Award winning saxophonist Ed Jones and rising young drummer Emil Karlsen have been working together as a duo since mid 2020. With a shared fascination for the sax/drums format and its potential, the duo dedicates itself to exploring its outer realms and possibilities. This shared interest laid the foundation for an intense 3-month period where weekly meetings culminated in the debut album ‘From Where Light Falls’. The album was released on FMR in 2021 to critical acclaim.
